Veerle began her tattoo journey in 2007 in Zaltbommel, the Netherlands. Her early years were dedicated to refining her craft and developing the distinctive artistic style she is known for today.
In 2010, while attending a tattoo convention in Las Vegas, she met Craig Foster of Skinwerks Tattoo in Carrollton, Georgia, USA. After receiving an invitation to work alongside the Skinwerks team, she took the leap and traveled to the United States. There, she was welcomed like family and immersed in a wealth of knowledge, learning unique tattooing techniques and gaining invaluable experience.
After returning to Europe, Veerle worked in several tattoo studios across the Netherlands and Switzerland before co-founding a tattoo studio with friends in Den Bosch, where she continued to evolve both her artistry and creative vision.
Creating a tattoo in Veerle's style is a collaborative process.
By bringing reference images and sources of inspiration, clients help communicate their ideas and vision. After discussing the story behind the tattoo and every detail of the design, Veerle takes the creative freedom to transform those ideas into a unique, custom piece of art that reflects both her style and the client's personal story.
During her guest spot at Black Bear Ink, Veerle will be taking on small to medium-sized projects only. She would also love to see clients choose one of her flash designs, allowing them to wear a piece that truly represents her artistic style.
