“It’s not just a phase, mom!”
On Friday evening, July 25th, BlackBear Ink is hosting an unforgettable Nerd Night event!
For all anime lovers, gamers, and pop culture nerds out there, we’ve got an epic evening lined up – complete with tattoos, great music, and fun surprises!
From Studio Ghibli and Harry Potter to retro games – our artists have created flash designs inspired by all the fandoms that make a geek’s heart beat faster.
And it gets even better: on the night itself, there will be two one-shot Dungeons & Dragons sessions, run by an experienced dungeon master! You can sign up during the event, and the sessions are open to both first-timers and seasoned adventurers.
So not only will you walk away with an awesome tattoo – you might just leave with a new experience (and hopefully a few new friendships 🤞).
A Flash Day means that all participating artists have prepared exclusive designs (called “flash”) in advance, which can only be tattooed on that specific day. You won’t be able to bring your own ideas, but don’t worry – there’ll be plenty of unique designs to choose from.
Our shop in Eindhoven will be open from 5 PM to 10 PM, and it’s first come, first served. So be on time, because you can’t reserve flash pieces in advance. You don’t want to miss out on your favorite design!
Each artist has chosen their own theme – so you’ll be getting tattooed by a true fan. 🤓
There will be small, affordable designs available that can be tattooed by any of the artists present. These flash pieces can be repeated! So that’s perfect if you and your crew are thinking of getting matching tattoos, or if you’re just looking for a fun, budget-friendly piece. (Click here to view the designs!)
In addition to the shared flash, each artist has also created their own personal designs within their chosen theme – entirely in their own style. That means even more choice and the chance to find a tattoo that really fits you!
There will be two short Dungeons & Dragons one-shot campaigns (about 1.5 hours each), guided by an experienced dungeon master who’ll make sure it’s a session to remember. Whether you’ve never rolled a d20 before or you’re a seasoned player – everyone is welcome. Sign-ups are on the night itself, so get there early if you want to join in!
The theme of the night is Release Your Inner Geek! So wear those Pikachu socks or your Gryffindor scarf loud and proud, and don’t be afraid to connect with your fellow geeks! Most importantly: just come as you are and feel comfortable being yourself.
Everyone who stops by gets a little surprise to take home. We’re not spilling the beans on what’s inside – but swing by for surprise goodies, a fresh new tattoo, and amazing vibes!
